The Austrian artist Constanze Hochwartner is an internationally sought-after organist and pianist. In the 2025/2026 season, concert tours will take her to Australia, China, Germany, Italy, Japan, and the United States. A highlight of the season is the release of her second solo organ album NANI Vol. 2 (October 2025), as well as the world premiere of Feel the Park by Tomáš Borl—a work composed especially for her—which will take place in Waldkirchen, Germany.

In spring 2024, she appeared as a piano soloist with the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra (Texas), performing Kevin Day’s double concerto Departures together with Peter Steiner. Further solo appearances have taken her to major concert halls and churches around the world. A six-week Asia tour in spring 2025 and her viral breakthrough on social media paved the way for the release of her debut organ album NANI Vol. 1 (2024)—a cross-genre project combining pop, film music, and classical organ repertoire. Shortly afterwards, she was featured in an interview with Domradio Cologne, which broadcast excerpts from the album.

Since 2017, Constanze Hochwartner has collaborated closely with trombonist Peter Steiner. Their first U.S. tour (2017/18) marked the beginning of a successful international partnership that has taken them on months-long concert tours through South America, Europe, Asia, and North America. Their debut duo album (SAPPHIRE, Berlin Classics) was released in 2019. Numerous other recordings followed, including BINARY STAR (2021), The First Noël (2021), DOUBLE EXPOSURE (2024), and PIPE FUSION (2025).

Her musical training began at the age of three with piano lessons from Irina Auner. At eight, she won first prizes at Austria’s youth music competition prima la musica. Starting in 2005, she studied in the gifted-students program at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz (piano with Aima Maria Labra Makk). At 17, her focus shifted increasingly toward the organ. She studied concert organ performance with Univ.-Prof. Ulrich Walther and organ within the instrumental and vocal pedagogy program (specializing in piano) with Chengcheng Zhao. In 2019, she completed her master’s degree under Mag. Karin Tafeit at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.
